History
River's Edge Pool Supply began as Web Chemicals, Inc. in 2008 as an online store primarily offering pool and spa chemicals. In 2009, River's Edge developed a swimming pool service department.
Following the 2009 swim season, the service and more traditional retail environment became the ultimate goals for the company. Therefore, Web Chemicals, Inc. officially filed to do business as River's Edge Pool Supply to have an operating name that can easily be associated with the swimming pool and spa industry.
Since its inception, the company has increased its customer base each season and is working towards developing a traditional retail store in addition to its service offerings.
Products and Services
Swimming pool services include swimming pool openings and closings, regular pool maintenance (weekly or bi-weekly basis), filter/pump repair or replacement, on-site water analysis, and safety cover measurement and installation.
Products available through the web store include pool and spa chemicals from Nu-Clo, Sparkle, and Leisure Time. In the field, River's Edge uses the best names and equipment in the industry including Hayward, Pentair, Loop-Loc and more!
Management Team
- Chris Varone - joined the pool and spa industry in 2000. Since then, Chris has worked in a retail store as well as in the field servicing pools and spas.
- Andrew Cody - joined the pool and spa industry in 2005 where he first met Chris. The two have worked together in a store setting before venturing on their own and starting this company in 2008.
Combined, Chris and Andrew have over 15 years of industry experience including time in retail and in the field. Regardless, both continue their industry education by attending specialized courses presented by industry experts. Both are currently enrolled in programs to become APSP Certified Maintenance Specialists, the first of the certifications they will seek to achieve certified recognition of their knowledge and abilities.
