Paddock Pools, Patios & Spas is a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based pool builder and retailer with two offices in the Phoenix Metro area. The firm has consistently ranked highly on the Pool & Spa News Top 50 Builders list.
The company was founded in 1958 by George Ghiz. Besides building pools, the company is also known for its retailing and merchandising. In February 2013 its was announced that Paddock Pools was purchased from Lincolnshire Financial by the Arizona twosome of Tom McKee and Craig Maggi. Maggi had been a former General Manager for the company and had left to pursue opening his own company. While retaining the employees left at the time of the acquisition the company has hired back four employees who had been let go as a result of retail store closing by the previous ownership group.
