Indigo Swimming Pools and Spas is a family owned and operated business servicing southwest Florida from Manatee County south through Charlotte County, including Venice, Sarasota, Bradenton, Englewood, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. The company, based in Venice, Fla., specializes in designing and building new pools, spas, waterfeatures and lagoon-style backyard retreats.

History
Patrick Ireland, president and owner of Indigo Swimming Pools and Spas, Inc. has more than 20 years of industry experience in the design, construction and functionality of swimming pools, spas and waterfeatures.
As an equipment specialist for one of the industry's leading manufacturers, Ireland spent many years traveling throughout Florida, parts of the United States, and even throughout Central and South America training companies and individuals on the how-to's of equipment, hydraulics, heating and electrical aspects of swimming pool construction.
In 2005, Pat decided to settle down, as well as proceed with a longtime goal of building fine pools, spas and waterfeatures.
Indigo Swimming Pools and Spas was officially incorporated in January 2008.
Products & Services
A custom pool and spa construction and renovation company, Indigo personally designs, color coordinates and equips the swimming pool and backyard.
Renovation services include resurfacing existing pools or transforming them completely, including the addition of spas to existing pools. The company also specializes in renovations of the front yard and driveway.
As equipment experts, Indigo specializes in automated controls to operate the pool and spa, salt chlorine generators, and the highest efficiency pumps, filters and heaters available on the market, including Pentair Intelliflow variable speed pumps, gas heaters and heat pumps from Pentair, and AquaCal SuperQuiet high-efficiency heat pumps. Indigo also offers Fafco solar heating systems
