History
John N. Gallagher Pool Service & Supply, Inc. was founded in 1976 in Frizzleburg, Carroll County, Md. John started the business after working in the swimming pool industry for 10 years as a service manager for Seaview Pools. John also built pools for five years with Seaview.
In 2005, the company changed its name to "Gallagher Pools and Spas" to reflect a more comprehensive treatment of swimming pools and spas.
Customers have voted the business Carroll's Best each year since the inception of the program in 1999.
Gallagher Pool Service has been an active member with the National Spa and Pool Institute since the late 1970s. John also has been very active in the Chesapeake Chapter of NSPI, serving as president for three years, as well as being a board member for 18 years. John has also served on the National Service Council of NSPI for three years. The firm is currently a member of APSP.

Gallagher Pools and Spas sells and installs Riviera inground vinyl liner and fiberglass pools, aboveground pools by Swim 'n Play, hot tubs by Bullfrog and Riviera Spas, saunas, and a variety of equipment, supplies and parts, including alarms, algicides and stain treatment, automatic cleaners, chemical feeders, balance, baquacil, chlorine, filters, games, heaters, lights, liners, maintenance equipment, mineral systems, music, pumps, repair kits, salt generators, skimmers and returns, solar, non-chlorine shock, spa accessories, spa chemicals, tiki bars and accessories, winter products and more.
