History
Craig Appelbaum began Crystal Clear Pool Service Inc. in 1986 and operated it out of his family home in Suffern, N.Y. He first started work in the pool industry at 16, vacuuming pools for a handful of customers.
Years later, his wife Jeril came aboard, and together they slowly grew the company, eventually moving to its current location in Nanuet. Later, the couple opened a retail component in nearby New City.
The firm has now been serving Rockland, Bergen and Orange counties in New York and New Jersey for more than 20 years.
Services
During the swim season, Crystal Clear Pool Service employs over 100 people with skills in equipment repair and servicing, pool renovations, pool and spa cleaning, openings, closings, and various maintenance plans for thousands of swimming pools.
They operate with the help of 40 radio-dispatched company vehicles. The company also has an on-site renovation department and parts warehouse.

Clients are invited to the showroom for free water analysis.
