History
ClearWater Pools, Spas & Billiards was established in 1980 as a swimming pool and ceiling fan supply store in Metairie, La. By the early 1990s, the company had expanded and opened a larger showroom in Metairie.
A few years later, ClearWater expanded to the New Orleans Northshore by opening a store in Mandeville, La. That store also quickly grew to occupy a larger location in Covington, La.
Products and Services
ClearWater designs, builds and/or installs gunite pools, vinyl-liner pools, fiberglass pools and aboveground pools. It offers filters, pumps, lighting, automatic pool cleaners, heaters, coolers, controls and timers, automatic chlorine feeders, salt water chlorine generators, chemicals such as premium chlorine and Pristine Blue solution for vinyl-liner pools, replacement liners and accessories for aboveground liner installations including foam cove, Happy Bottom and Protect-A-Bottom, a large selection of replacement parts and components, life rings, buoys, signs, alarms and fencing, custom-made safety covers for in-ground pools, and commercial pool supplies and equipment.
In addition to full service departments, the company also carries hot tubs by Infinity Spas, Bahama Spas, Leisure Bay Spas, Dynasty Spas, Cal Spas, Dream Maker Spas and Nordic Hot Tubs. Spa accessories include chemicals, ozone systems, fragrances, parts and equipment, covers, lifts, umbrellas, steps, safety rails and gazebos.
From umbrellas to bar tables and chaise lounges, ClearWater offers a complete selection of patio furniture options from Winston, Cast Craft and Leisure Bay in thousands of different combinations. It also stocks Cal Flame BBQs and grills, barbecue islands, barbecue carts, drop-in grills, pizza oven carts, cocktail bar center carts, beverage centers and refrigerators, Cal Heat lines of infrared saunas, carbon fiber saunas, custom series saunas and outdoor saunas, a wide selection of tanning beds from Solar Storm and PerfectSun Wolff, full slate billiard tables, and a wide range of cue sticks, balls, felt and other accessories.
