History
Cardinal Systems was founded in 1976 by Mickey Bradley to produce galvanized steel walls for in-ground swimming pools. The equipment then consisted of one sheer, one press brake and a punch press located in a 5,000 square foot garage.
Cardinal Systems has grown to be the world’s largest and most technologically advanced manufacturer of galvanized steel panels for in-ground swimming pools. The company now occupies a 154,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Cardinal Systems has 3 generations of family ownership and operation.
Product Offerings
Cardinal Systems recently acquired three additional product lines to complement its offering to pool builders.
The Caravelle line of polymer wall pools and the MPS line of Aluminum Coping. These two product lines have made Cardinal Systems the largest suppliers of package pool panels, coping and components in the country. Cardinal manufactures more steel pools and supplies more aluminum coping than any single facility in the industry and the world. Press releases are also available.
In March 2009, Caravelle Plastics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cardinal Systems, acquired Quaker Plastics, adding thermoplastic stairs and extruded plastic deck drain and concrete products to the steel, polymer and coping lines.
