History
Aquagon Pool & Spa was established in 2009 by Alan Wuester. A Fuquay-Varina native, Wuester got his start in the pool business when his mother, Ellen Allred, opened Leisure Concepts in Fuquay Varina in the 1980s. Wuester was 7 years old when Leisure Concepts was opened, allowing him to grow up in and around the pool and spa business.
In 1994, Leisure Concepts moved to Garner, N.C.; it was then closed/sold in 1997.
From 1998 to 2000, Wuester went on to work at All Deck Out Leisure in Apex, N.C. Then, in 2001, he took a position at Choice Pool & Spa (formerly Patio Pool & Spa) in North Raleigh, N.C., where he remained until starting Aquagon in 2009.

Aquagon carries robotic pool cleaners by Polaris and Dolphin, suction and pressure cleaners, salt systems by Pentair, Jandy, Nature2 and Pristiva, pool pumps by Jandy, Hayward and Speck Pumps, pool filters by Jandy and Hayward, heat pumps by Aqua Comfort, gas pool heaters by Jandy, chemicals and sanitizers by Baquacil, Jack's Magic, Natural Chemistry, Pristiva, Sea Klear, Poolife and more, pool covers, winter items, maintenance equipment and eco-friendly products; spa products includecovers, cover lifts, green products, spa chemicals, spa filters, gazebos and enclosures, and accessories.
In-store and field services for pools include: safety cover installation, pump and equipment repair or replacement, liner changes, sand changes, salt system installation, pool controls systems, chemical feeder installation, plumbing repair, heater installation, customized pool instruction, pool inspections, pool cleaner repair, ladder, handrail, slide and diving board replacement, pool light repair, water testing/chemical analysis, pump repair, pool cleaner repair, and expert advice on a range of topics.
Spa services include: repair on most brands of spas, spa inspections, jet replacement, drain, clean and refill, part replacement and basic instruction on simple spa repair.
